Community Living Services Program (CLSP)

The Community Living Services Program (CLSP) helps people with significant disabilities live more independently in their homes and communities. We believe in the Independent Living Philosophy, which focuses on consumer control, peer support, self-help, self-determination, and equal access.

The Community Living Support Program (CLSP) is funded through state and private grants and is available to individuals with disabilities who meet income eligibility requirements. Applicants must apply and receive program approval and are then placed on a waiting list. Assistance is subject to available funding and limitations related to the property, terrain, construction feasibility, and program guidelines.

CLSP builds accessibility-related home modifications and assistive devices only, such as wheelchair ramps, door threshold modifications, accessible bathroom modifications, grab bars and handrails, stair lifts, and provides other approved assistive devices with our licensed contractors. CLSP does provide general home remodeling or items such as hearing aids or lift recliners per grant guidelines.
