The Appalachian Center for Independent Living (ACIL) is seeking passionate and visionary leaders to join our Board of Directors.

If you are committed to advancing the rights of individuals with disabilities and strengthening independent living across West Virginia, we invite you to bring your expertise, energy, and voice to our mission.

As a Board Member, you’ll help shape the future of ACIL—guiding strategy, expanding community impact, and ensuring that people with disabilities have the support and opportunities they deserve.

This is a volunteer, unpaid position, ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference while serving alongside others dedicated to inclusion and empowerment.  The board meets every other month at the ACIL office in Big Chimney, WV.   Video call options for meeting participation is available.
