Part-Time Van Driver
The Appalachian Center for Independent Living (ACIL) is seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Van Driver.
This position is responsible for safely transporting individuals with disabilities and seniors to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential errands that support independent living.
Responsibilities:
Provide safe, timely, and respectful transportation
Assist passengers as needed
Maintain a clean and dependable vehicle
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Dependable and punctual
Friendly and respectful toward all individuals
Schedule:
Approximately 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

As a Board Member, you’ll help shape the future of ACIL—guiding strategy, expanding community impact, and ensuring that people with disabilities have the support and opportunities they deserve.
This is a volunteer, unpaid position, ideal for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference while serving alongside others dedicated to inclusion and empowerment. The board meets every other month at the ACIL office in Big Chimney, WV. Video call options for meeting participation is available.
